BIO
I am an Artist/Designer who is seeking to better understand life through making. My process is highly based in materiality while focused in culture, humanity, and our complicated relationship with the world around us.
Growing up in Indiana brought me to attend Ball State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. After graduating, I fell in love with the idea of being able to create meaningful work at a scale that was tangible. I worked as a Designer and Fabricator to build up some experience before attending Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where I received my Master of Fine Arts in 3D Design.
I continue to create work in Harrisonburg, Virginia both as an Artist and Educator. In addition to my creative practice, I am the Manager of Digital Design and Fabrication at James Madison University, and am a part of the Adjunct and Graduate Faculty.
