Inspiration Image of Anthony Caro and work
MATT OLSON Workshop
I had the pleasure of being a part of a three day workshop lead by Matt Olson of ROLU and OOIEE at Cranbrook. This Collaborative workshop was based around a series of photographs showing Anthony Caro's "testing lot" for a group of work, which eventually be refined to finalized sculpture. Our interpretations of Caro's work were informed by a selection of essays Curated by Olson, which included Jorge Louis Borges's "Pierre Menard author of Quixote", Alan Kaprow's "Art Which Can't Be Art", Seth Price's "Compatibility Mode", And Anthony Huberman's "Take Care" and "I (not love) Information"
